Today’s word: dare

My story:
I am sad to tell you that this will be my last daily devotional post for a while. I have begun a freelancing career and I’m afraid this will take up a lot of my free time for a while. I plan to post something for you every Sunday. This makes me a bit sad, because I feel like I’m letting you down. My followers have been so supportive and kind. But rest assured you are in my heart always.
I was feeling a bit stuck for a while, but I’ve been given a lovely opportunity to shift some gears and take an unexpected path. I’m a little nervous; starting something new, but leaving my comfort zone is definitely a good thing.
I don’t know how this is going to turn out, but I know that I have to follow what the Universe has offered.
I’d like to encourage you to do something a bit daring today. Do something that makes you feel a bit uncomfortable. If there is anything about your life that you don’t much like, strike out and do something bold to change it. Yeah, it’s a bit scary, and no, you don’t know what will happen, but it’s so exciting. The kind of excitement that comes from the possibility of positive change is so great. It brings a surge of new hope and bigger dreams.

Takeaway: It is so easy to get caught up in the daily routines of life. We forget that life is supposed to be an adventure. Whatever you would like to change, know that you are not stuck. There is always a different way. You just have to open your eyes and look. Oh, and be brave.

Today’s goal: Today I will dare to live my life without fear.

Affirmation to go:  I have loved this quote for decades, but today I put it into practice.
